Images of the flood at Vodafone HQ campus on Friday 20th July 2007. Despite the rapid rise of water on the campus and into the buildings, there were no serious injuries reported, although clearly one lady has slipped on the wet floor. I took the last image on the day just after 3.30PM. When I returned on Monday 23 July, it was almost as if it had never happened, such was the effort by the myriad staff and contractors involved in the clean-up. Alternative catering arrangements by Eurest during the subsequent refurbishments keep the workforce sustained, while a lunchtime jazz band entertained. |
